Workers’ Compensation Claims Review: Why Regular Reviews Save Money and Prevent Litigation

Workers’ Compensation Claims Review Audio Conference on CD

Without close monitoring of open workers’ compensation claims, you can lose hundreds of thousands of dollars from your bottom line in payouts relating to unnecessary medical treatment, surgery, lost time-and even employee litigation. You can’t sit back and trust that the system will work to protect you. And failure to communicate regularly with your carrier about open claims is like writing a blank check for unlimited treatment and costs.

Scheduling reviews of open claims with your insurance carrier can help you close claims faster and resolve issues before they get out of control. A thorough, prompt review can also help you respond in a timely manner-which is particularly important in states that limit your rights to investigate or question a claim as a work-related event.

Order this in-depth 90-minute audio conference recording. Our workers’ compensation experts will explain the best ways to stay in control and on top of your open claims, and to move those claims toward a faster and cheaper resolution.

You and your colleagues will learn:

  • Critical elements of effectively managing your open workers’ compensation claims
  • How and why to partner with your carrier’s claims manager
  • Successful tips for claims triage, based on severity
  • Why one person in your organization must be designated as your workers’ comp administrator-and how to select a good candidate
  • Why ignoring open claims and hoping they will work themselves out can cost you thousands of dollars in increased litigation claims
  • Tips on coordinating and communicating your open claims concerns with your carrier
  • This audio conference will be recorded on Thursday, April 10, 2008
