Disaster Planning: What Employees Need to Know Audio Click 'n Train

There are several OSHA standards that apply to disaster planning:
29 CFR 1910.38. OSHA requires employers with 10 or more employees to have a written emergency action plan and to make sure your employees are trained.
. 29 CFR 1910.155-165. The fire protection standard requires you to take steps to prevent workplace fires as well as be prepared to deal with any fires including placement of fire extinguishers; Section 1910.165 requires you to have a working alarm system. A key requirement under is employee training must be conducted. 29 CFR 1910.120.
