You read the headlines every week in U.S. newspapers and business magazines about out-of-control executive compensation, with nine-figure CEO salaries and excessive job perks that generate tons of negative publicity for the companies involved.
It’s not the headline-grabbing abuses, though, that cause the most trouble for many employers and HR directors. It’s the everyday questions about executive compensation – from finding benchmarks and setting comparable pay and benefits levels for your key employees to tracking and reporting the compensation properly and complying with the newest disclosure and transparency requirements. The bottom line is that executive compensation is complicated, and tricky to administer effectively.
You’ll learn how to anticipate, prevent, and resolve the most common executive compensation problems HR professionals face during our informative 90-minute audio conference recording. Our expert speaker – an experienced attorney and executive compensation specialist – will break down the basic types of executive pay and benefits and the latest strategies for setting, tracking, paying taxes on, and disclosing them to comply with the law.
You and your colleagues will learn:
- The primary federal laws and regulations governing executive compensation, including the most recent changes and updates you must know about
- Which types of executive compensation – base salary, short- and long-term incentives, benefits, and perquisites – are most requested by key employees (and which ones cause the most trouble for employers)
