Being a great boss–a manager who’s mastered the art of coaching, supervising, and developing the skills of employees–isn’t as simple as it sounds. In many workplaces, it’s easy to spot the managers no one wants to work for, but it’s much tougher to figure out how to transform your run-of-the-mill supervisors into highly respected, effective bosses.
Join us on December 18--and bring your front-line managers along–for this 90-minute webinar about the secrets of building world-class managers within your organization (the supervisors everyone wants to work with).
You and your team will learn:
- The short list of absolutely critical strengths and skills shared by all top-ranked managers
- How great bosses build successful employees in today’s roller-coaster, low-job-loyalty economy
- What steps you can take to turn brand-new, inexperienced supervisors into true workplace leaders
- The biggest mistakes your supervisors can make with their direct reports (and how they can avoid these errors or fix the damage later)
- Best practices for supervisors to build enthusiasm and loyalty among their workers–even if there’s little or no money these days for raises and bonuses
- How your front-line managers can learn effective listening skills and empathize with their employees (without trying to be their best friends)
- What great bosses do to hold their workers accountable, without discouraging them or burning them out

How Do Webinars Work?
A webinar is remarkably cost-effective and convenient. You participate from your office, using a regular telephone and a computer with an Internet connection. You have no travel costs and no out-of-office time.
Plus, for one low price you can get as many people in your office to participate as you can fit around a speakerphone.
Because the webinar is live, you can ask the speakers questions—either on the phone or via the webinar interface.
You will receive access instructions via e-mail several days before the event. You don't need any additional materials before the webinar starts. Your webinar materials will be available for you to view, print, and download when you log in to participate in the event.
